Fundraising for Marie Curie
It's all done now! Thanks everyone for your amazing support - it was an incredible day and I can feel every bit in my body today! Loads of money raised too so I'm chuffed to bits. Time was 4h35m and I am extremely pleased with that. my personal on the ground support team led by Helen were fabulous and made all the difference.
Now let there be no more talk of marathons...

Ok, I seem to think I categorically stated that I would not ever be doing a marathon again...but because Helen S was keen to and I didn't want to miss out I found myself agreeing!
Fast forward a year and I'm completely devastated to report that my Best has had to pull out. We are both totally gutted and it's taken many hours of to-ing and fro-ing to convince myself that I can do it on my own. Now I really need to do a good job because it's for both of us. By 'good job' I mean 'finish' by the way.
I'm really not doing this one for the fundraising though, we were extremely well supported by everyone last time. This is just a pocket change request and by no means anything I expect. I really just need to justify wearing the Marie Curie vest! You all know how I feel about Marie Curie after my brother was cared for in one of their hospices before he died.
If anyone is anywhere near Brighton seafront on Sunday April 14th I will need all the cheering you can muster! I will be pink faced and yellow vested.
Thanks for your support,
Helen
