There are days when I feel like throwing myself off the top of our Canada Sq building and on Friday 7 October I will be doing just that…with a safety harness. 

 

A couple of months ago I mentioned to our Marketing team that 'I love adventure sports'. Truth is I once went skiing off piste (by accident) for 10 minutes and that's about the extent of my experience. Thinking I'm up for anything Marketing has suggested I abseil down 15 Canada Sq (15 stories, 75 meters).  In light of my recent loose talking and the fact that it’s to raise money for Barnardo’s I could hardly say no.  

 

I would be immensely grateful if you could sponsor me - I need to raise a minimum of £150.  Sponsors are also welcome to watch me in my efforts – my slot is at 11.30am on 7 October – my hysterical cries for help and attractive harness/hard hat look will be great entertainment for a Friday.
