The Independent Domestic Abuse Services (IDAS) works with those who suffer from Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence. Domestic Abuse is still such a problem in today's society, and I believe we need to start taking the problem seriously, and doing something about it. That is why I am running the York 10km for IDAS: to raise money for such a worthy cause, and to raise awareness of Domestic Abuse so that no one need live in fear for their lives.
