In 2012 PC Nichola Hughes and her colleage Fiona lost their lives whilst doing the job the loved.

The Nicola Hughes Memorial Fund supports various charities including those dedicated to helping the families of police officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty and support them to rebuild their lives, ensuring survivors have all the help they need to cope with such a tragedy.

 "Run to Remember" supports the Memorial Fund charities and leads up to Nicola's dad, Bryn Hughes, who is also raising money by taking part in the North Pole Marathon in April 2014.

This is going to be a huge challenge for me physically and mentally and I thank anyone able to provide their support to this very worthy cause.
