After a four year battle with bowel cancer, my husband Iain sadly passed away on 2^nd January 2021. In the last weeks of his life he received great care and support from the community team at St Raphael’s Hospice. They were able manage his pain and help with practical things such as providing equipment at home. They did this with compassion and kindness that gave Iain and our family comfort and support at a very difficult time enabling Iain to pass away peacefully and pain free at home as he had wished.
