Story
When I saw the trek Sahara Challenge I thought that's how I'm going to celebrate being 60, I'm going to be fit enough to do this while raising money for a great Hospice and in memory of my Dad who we lost last year.
At St Luke’s we care for adults living in central and southern Cheshire who are suffering from cancer and other life limiting illnesses, serving a population of around 280,000. We offer 24 hour care to local people, as well as our services offered in Day Hospice, out-patient clinics, complementary therapy clinics, counselling, bereavement support and many other services. We are a charity and over 80% of our services are funded from donations, fundraising events, gifts in wills, goods sold in our shops and our lottery players.
