Paul was diagnosed with kidney cancer on June 10th 2014, a day which I will never forget. Being told news like that is like being hit with a wrecking ball. I have nothing but pride for the way Paul fought his cancer, he survived a major operation and an extremely bad case of pneumonia and managed 2 cycles of very gruelling chemo. He went through it all with his trademark irreverent  sense of humour, even throwing a 'shit happens' party for all our friends. Something which I so admire him for doing. 

It goes without saying how much I will miss Paul, he will leave a massive hole in my life, as most of you know, we did everything together. However I know he would want me to carry on, keep smiling and keep living life to the full. With the support of my friends and family ( and Barney!)I will do my very best to make him proud of me
