Woman's Trust supports women affected by domestic abuse by providing counselling and support groups. Domestic abuse affects 1 in 4 women in the UK, it is the biggest single cause of female depression and mental health problems. Help us make a difference and change women's lives.

Story

I am  taking part in the 5 K "Do it for Charity Superhero Run" on 15th May 2016 at Regents Park in aid of WOMAN'S TRUST, counselling and support service for women experiencing Domestic Violence.

  • 1 in 4 women will experience some form of abuse throughout their life
  • In the UK 2 women a week are killed by their current or former partner
  • 54% of UK rapes are committed by a woman's current or former partner
  • At least 750,000 children a year witness domestic violence 

Women and Children shouldn't have to live in fear .... we all have the right to live free from abuse and fear!
