Story

As some of you may or may not know, my ole man (Steve, Steve-o, The Funky Judge, Mr Smith or however you refer to him) was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease, back in 2005.

I am not going to harp on too much about this, because as we all know, only children like the attention to be on them...! Stepping into an unusual spotlight this year, I will be taking part in the Men's Health Survival of the Fittest in Cardiff this October.

I will be the first to admit that my training on this has not been hard core and there is a possibility I could die trying to complete this insane challenge (thanks Mike Longden!)... Sooooo, if you could take sympathy on me and donate a few golden coins to this cause I would be eternally grateful.

Some of you may remember that last year I completed a 10K race for my local charity where I regularly volunteer (Havering Learning Disability Society) and if you would prefer to support that charity ignore this and email me separately on this.

Thank you a million times and don't be afraid to please dig deep as you can and donate now.

Much love,
Heidi x

PS - If for any reason I hit the £500 please don't let that put you off - we will always take more! ;-)

Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.
