Story
Heather’s mum suffered from Parkinson's for over 20 years. We saw first-hand the impact this devastating illness had on her, our father, and our family. Luella was an amazing woman with a huge zest for life! She was strong, proud and independent and over time this debilitating disease took away these qualities of life often taken for granted.
She fought so hard against Parkinson's and the challenges it had on her daily life.
However, she always remained positive and was a huge supporter of Parkinson’s UK helping them to raise money for their invaluable research.
One thing she always wanted to do was a sky dive for Parkinson’s UK. Sadly she was not able to do this. In her memory, we would like to do this to help raise much needed awareness and funds to support their ongoing research into finding a cure.
We are doing our Sky Dive on Saturday 25th June from Dunkeswell Airfield in Devon.
Parkinson's is a progressive neurological condition. Parkinson's UK is the driving force behind many years of groundbreaking research into finding a cure. They now understand more about the condition than ever before. Thanks to your support of our Sky Dive we can make a small difference to the Parkinson's community in their quest to find a major breakthrough. Together we can find new treatments and get closer to a cure.
