After years and years of saying “Yeah I will shave my head for charity” I’ve decided to put my words into action. The hair is coming off!!

On the 3rd September 2022 at The Sycamore Pub Ashton Under Lyne I will be shaving my head in aid of Neuroblastoma UK. I will be donating my hair to the Little Princess Trust, a charity that makes wigs for children who have lost their hair through cancer and other conditions. 

Neuroblastoma is a type of cancer that mainly effects babies and young children. Unfortunately my older brother Andrew was diagnosed with this cancer at 22 months old. Andrew was one of the lucky ones and survived this illness but many don’t. My main reason for wanting to do this fundraising event is to raise much needed awareness and funds. Since Andrew was diagnosed 34 years ago the survival rate is pretty much the same, something that massively needs to change. 

I really want to make as many people as possible aware of Neuroblastoma and raise as much money as I can to help with ongoing research. So please donate If you can or come down on the day even if it’s just to watch me shave my head (Well Andrew will be doing that).
