My name is Heather, I am a beauty therapist with 2 young kids and have been diagnosed with breast cancer. I am currently undergoing chemotherapy. I am only at the start of my treatment and therefore have a long journey before I am free of this disease however hopefully because I did check myself and caught it before it spread, I have given myself the best chance. I have fantastic support from family and friends and I really want to spend my time off doing something that may in a very small way help someone else. We never thought this would happen to us but it has and I have to accept what is happening and in a funny way embrace it.
