Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Hi my name is Heather Daisy Thomas and I am 15 years old. I want to tell you why I am fundraising and I am also going to keep you updated on my training and progress. It going to be a lot of hard work involving blisters and lot of out of tune singing to YMCA but I think I might just get there!!!
On the 19th of April 2011 my cousin Jane died of epilepsy so I am going to do the Yorkshire 3 peaks challenge, which involves walking 26 miles up 3 mountains. I am doing the walk with some friends and family. Jane's brother, Arthur, is also going to take part in the walk plus Jane will probably be there in spirit telling us to get off out backsides and get walking.
Jane was a truly inspirational, friendly and kind-hearted person. Words cant describe how much she will be missed by everyone who knew her. I know that I will never forget her. I really want to honour her memory and make her proud as well as supporting a charity that will help people in the future and hopefully prevent more deaths.
I want to raise money for research into epilepsy and support for the family of people who have died from epilepsy. The charity I am supporting also raises awareness of sudep (sudden unexplained death from epilepsy) and hopefully help prevent more unnecessary deaths from happening. Currently over 1000 people die from epilepsy every year and that’s only in the UK. That’s about 3 people a day, so we need to come together and prevent more deaths in the future. Please support me and your money will go towards a great cause.

Thankyou xHx
P.S. I'm really sorry for all the spelling mistakes, spelling is not my best point (neither's walking but ho hum)
