I have learnt a huge amount from the "civilians" at Nigel Wright Recruitment since leaving the Army - their extensive industry knowledge, commercial acumen and general expertise are second to none (and I'm not just saying that in the hope the CEO stumbles across my page).

So I decided to return the favour and introduce them one of my favourite military pastimes - tough physical challenge.  Organising a 24 hour bimble across the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales.  Otherwise known as the infamous 3 Peaks Challenge.

This isn't just a masochistic act or an attempt to make me the least popular member of the Office.  It is for a wonderful cause- to raise, as a company, £10,000 for Cancer Research.  So please give generously for the sake of my poor colleagues that will get beasted, for the humiliation I'll suffer when they realise that I can't actually map read and most importantly for the 1 in 3 people that will develop some form of Cancer in their lifetime.
