Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Alex sadly passed away in her sleep when she was 16. She was an extremely fit and seemingly well young person, and the heartache we feel from losing Alex does not diminish. She was kind, funny and always put others first and we were extremely lucky to have had her in our lives - albeit for too short a time,
So in honour of what would have been Alex's 21st birthday in September, we will be taking part in the Great North Run. I will be shuffling around, but I suspect our other team members will be much more accomplished than that !!!
We are hoping to raise money for Cardiac risk in the Young in Alex's memory so that we can conduct further screening and support the research carried out by this important charity. Thank you so much for your support
