Story

I am taking part in a Ladies' Driving Challenge on Sunday 25th September 2011 to raise money for The Fire Fighters Charity.  I will be trying my hand at driving a variety of vehicles from tanks to tractors and fire engines to HGV's.

I took part in a fire fighters training day a couple of years ago and it was an amazing experience to find out what training the fire fighters go through and what a physical job it is.  Despite the training and fire kit they wear fire fighting is still a dangerous job and underneath their armour they are only human and therefore vulnerable.  Every year, 1000's of fire fighters suffer a range of injuries which affect their quality of life, their family relationships and their ability to do their jobs.

By choosing to support The Fire Fighters Charity we are doing something special which will enable the charity to help fire fighters in need so they can continue to save lives.
