As you all know, the COVID-19 pandemic is having a devastating effect on all of us, but small independent charities like ourselves are really suffering which is where we are URGENTLY asking for your help. 

We rely on donations through fundraising, events and personal generosity in order to provide vital support and activities to our clients. As a result of COVID-19, we have had to postpone and cancel events and activities which means we are experiencing a loss of income.

Since the pandemic we have had to close our centre and have been offering a remote service to clients and families in order to support them through this difficult time. We hope that soon we will be able to reopen the centre to ensure clients and families get the first class support they require.

** £5 donation ** 
A little goes a long way! This will help go towards stationary costs for our clients to be able to complete their CRT with pen and paper exercises to help them with maths, problem solving and information processing. 

** £10 donation ** 
Your £10 could help with the cost of games when clients come together and talk in our cognitive behavioural therapy group.The use of CBT will help clients understand how to deal with real life scenarios, such as techniques for managing anger and anxiety after suffering a brain injury.

** £20 donation **
This would enable a support worker to provide vital 1:1 support with a client for an hour. Receiving this support will help the client get all the help and support they need.

** £30-£40 donation **

We offer Therapeutic courses at Headway Swindon such as cooking, pottery, armchair Zumba/yoga, meditation and art. £30-40 would pay for a therapist to come to Headway and provide a session for at least 6 clients.

** £50-£90 donation **

To add a bit of variety to our programme, we hold theme weeks, where we decorate the centre and offer different activities for our clients to enjoy. This could be new games, competitions, afternoon tea, decorating cupcakes, pizza making etc. £50-£90 would cover the cost of a
theme week that all of our clients would enjoy.

** £100 donation ** 
We appreciate every and any donation given but a very generous donation of £100 would go towards offering our clients a day trip out or holding a special event. 
Many of our clients are unable to go out since suffering a brain injury or their only outing is attending their one or two days a week at Headway. We would love to provide more social activities for our clients to help increase their self-esteem and confidence.
