Story
Hello!
In recent times, The Hospice in the Weald has become a very important charity to me. I was made aware of its work last year when my Grandad was admitted after being diagnosed with terminal cancer. Since then, my eyes have been opened to their work with the young and the old, the ill as well as their relatives and friends. They offer residential care, day visits, counselling sessions, and I’m determined to do my best to help such a fantastic facility. I therefore have made the frankly hair raising (or not as the case may be) decision to shave all my hair off in an attempt to raise a substantial amount of money for The Hospice. As it’s not part of the NHS The Hospice has to raise £5 million a year simply to keep running. Despite of this, it is completely free to the people it cares for, meaning that it needs a lot of fundraising.
I really appreciate any donations you could make towards such a brilliant charity. I will be doing this on the 15 June, I’ll keep you posted on this page with my fundraising attempts!
