Story
So, aye. I've concocted this one myself so hopefully it will be feasible with a busy job, young family and so on and so forth.
The easy bit - I'm going to run 1,000 miles in 2016. Roughly 20 miles a week, should be do-able.
The harder bit - I'm not a natural runner and as of yet, I'm not taking performance enhancing drugs. And I'm going to be 40 next year and I love beer and tabs, hence...
The hardest bit - I'm going to try and have a few weeks off the pop in the run up to the Paris Marathon at the start of April and knock the smoking on the head, at least until then. Ulp!
I'll keep the page updated over the year and if you can spare a couple of quid, then great. I have no sponsorship target that I 'need' to make for MIND so anything is a bonus and I'm paying for all of the runs, travel etc..myself.
So here goes then!
