Story
HELLO ALL (again).
So I've skydived and abseiled already but I'm skydiving AGAIN on 11th June. This time - it's part of a World Record attempt to have the greatest number of people tandem skydiving in 24 hours.
*EDIT* 17th March - if I can raise £840, my MUM, that's right, my Mum, will be jumping with me so this is now a joint fundraising page!
To anyone who doesn't know - the charity I always fundraise for is Myaware - Fighting Myasthenia Together, which are a charity very close to my heart as I'm an MG warrior myself!
The money raised here all goes to the charity - I'm paying all the deposity things so I assure you, you're not just paying for me to have a fun jump! I know I've asked from money from you all before and I'm sorry to do it all over again, but it's a great cause and I'll appreciate any money you can give me at all - even 20p.
Myasthenia Gravis is a rare, chronic neurological condition - in simple terms, my brain can't always get the neurons to my muscles to work so everything gets a bit wobbly. Luckily with skydiving, I have a guy on my back whose muscles are fully functioning, so no worries there.
I had a transsternal thymectomy (operation where they saw the breastplate open and take a gland out) in December 2013 and about 6 months later, took part in my first skydive before abseiling the Stratford Orbit last year.
There's so little known about the disease which is the main problem so the more research and more funding there is, the more likely we all might get back to being normal again! Although I'll probably still be a coeliac but I can handle that one.
BIG LOVE x
