Story

Many thanks for taking the time to visit our Just Giving page.

On June 9th 2017, Hayley and Marie along with many others will be embarking on a challenge to cycle 145 miles from Yorkshire to Amsterdam to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK.

On day one, we'll be setting off from Oakwell stadium, home to Barnsley FC and be cycling on quiet roads heading north towards Hull, before finishing the day and boarding the overnight ferry to Holland.

Day two will start in Rotterdam and we'll be heading towards Ajax Stadium in Amsterdam, taking in the beautiful sights and landscapes that Holland has to offer!

If you wish to come and support us on our journey, the stop off points will be confirmed later!

This will be both mentally and physically challenging for us both, Marie has been cycling once a week for a few months, however Hayley is a beginner to the sport, it will put us both through our paces but it will be worth it if we make a difference to people's lives who are affected by this awful disease.

Please dig deep, even the smallest donation will make a difference!

A huge thank you to J.C Cook cycles of Grimsby and Scunthorpe, who have kindly sponsored Hayley with a bike for her training and ride!
If you're into your cycling and would like to get started, take a look in their fantastic stores!

Many Thanks!

Hayley and Marie
