Story

SURPRISE CHARITY PARTY FOR WESTON PARK - 30.05.2014 RAISING £1527.65!! Thank you to everyone who donated, bided on the auction and bought raffle tickets! We've raised an amazing amount of money but we don't have to stop there...

160" Bungee jump in Manchester over Salford Quays.. 20.09.2014!! Me and Penny Woodward are going to be jumping off a crane over water to raise even more money!

"After 9 months of continuous physical and emotional challenges, my sister in law today completed her treatment for breast cancer. Many of you have followed her progress via facebook, and your support has helped in ways you wouldn't imagine. My niece and I will be doing a bungee jump in September to raise money for Weston Park where Lynn received her treatment. Shes probably seen their walls more than her ones at home in the recent months and they've looked after her and thousands of others amazingly. It's a very worthwhile cause and is one that many of us maybe affected by in some way or another. Please donate!" - Penny Woodward

As most of you know, my amazing Mum has been fighting breast cancer since the 16th December 2013. My mum has received the best care possible from all of the staff at Weston Park. The staff at the hospital are hard working, empathetic individuals and I would like to do something to repay them for their hard work they give to patients and their families. The hospital does not only care for my Mum, but many other individuals who are in the same position as her. They are ill, frightened, worried about family life, their careers and much more - Weston park have helped each and every one of the patients deal with their personal worries. Not to mention how much support patients families have received while their loved ones are being treated for cancer. It's for an amazing cause! As little as one pound can make a difference:

- more equipment can be provided for cancer patients

- Hair loss, a huge part of chemotherapy. We could provide wigs/scarfs/hats for those who are suffering with coming to terms with their hair loss

- Support for families can be increased

- More investigations can be carried out with the right funds, meaning we could find a better treatment or a cure!

- More lives can be saved!

LETS BEAT CANCER TOGETHER!!
