Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Last year I completed the biggest challenge of climbing kilimanjaro, now the only mountain left to climb it this one! The training is going to be tough, and Im not sure having experienced the altitude sickness that this is a plus going in with wide eyes. Some days just to put one foot in front of the other was a challenge in its self. I will be doing other events along the way to help fund raise for it. Tough mudder, half maras, and some triathlons. All helping towards our goal to climb this mountain.

Steve Prescott foundation is such an inspiration, the things that man achieved, are just amazing, he fought to battle and carry on through cancer, to beat it, and for us to carry on helping others to fight their battle. There has now been another lady who had the same transplant and through this charity and donations from kind people like you, Rachel's operation was a success and she was their to start us all off at the ST Helens Triathlon.

Thank you as always for helping me fund raise for these charities, its something close to my heart to help support all these people and to fight cancer. Thanks again.

About the charity

The Steve Prescott Foundation was set up by a totally inspirational man Steve Prescott MBE. In 2006 he was diagnosed with Pseudomyxoma Peritonei a terminal cancer & sought out to raise funds for The Christie Hospital and the Rugby League Benevolent Fund.
