We fund bowel cancer & disease research to save and change lives

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Bowel and cancer research vision is that no-one should die of bowel cancer, have to live with chronic bowel disease or face life with a permanent stoma. Funds go towards researching causes and treatment of bowel cancer along with developing new approaches to surgery to help improve lives of patients.

My father was diagnosed with bowel cancer early November 2012. After going through the relevant treatment and recent surgery, it has proved to quite a marathon itself.  Running 26.2 miles will be a big challenge, but one I hope to achieve in aid of this charity that is close to my heart. Your help and support will go a long way.

Zara and I have been training very hard since the start of the year and have already participated in Omaghs 24th half marathon. It was great to get the experience of a real race and we think it will have prepared us well for the 6th May!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Lots Of Love:
