Story
My Dad and I will be cycling from Lands End to John O’Goats in June 2021 to raise money for Cyclists Fighting Cancer, a children’s cancer charity, and in memory of my fiancé Andy.
There are not enough words to describe our Andy; my inspiration. Positive, funny, geeky, brave, courageous, kind, caring, loving and completely inspirational, just to name a few. Through doing this challenge I hope I can help others along the way, as he so would have wanted to do himself.
Andy was always so grateful and so thankful to everyone who helped him while he had cancer. The many hours, days, sometimes weeks he spent in hospital he made everyone smile, always finding a reason to be positive, the nurses all wanted to be the one to look after him! Raising money to help those who sadly find themselves in a similar situation, who need help, is something he and I were very passionate about.
Therefore, my Dad and I are supporting CFC and the incredible work they do in helping children with cancer. In this time of COVID charities need our help more than ever, we are determined to keep on fighting this disease and helping in any way we can.
Thank you for visiting my page, team #bemoreandy.
Forever my strength, forever my inspiration, I hope I make you proud.
Every day four families in the UK are told that their child has cancer, we feel passionately about supporting these families along this difficult journey. We help children to regain their physical fitness, strength and confidence by giving them new bikes, adapted trikes and specialist support during treatment and into recovery.
