We never know what's around the corner, or which charities will become important to us because of life events that happen to our family or close friends. As a kid i grew up thinking stroke could not be overcome, as it took so much from my grandfather that i don't remember him before his life was ruined by stroke. But just last year, a good friend showed us all that you can fight back and WIN! And the good thing that came out of it for me is I learned to bake!! Since this time last year, with help of friends and colleagues I've been part of raising almost £1,000 for various charities including Stroke Association, so i wanted to do it all over again this year!!
