Arthritis is a huge problem, affecting more than 10m people in the UK!

As a Rheumatology Nurse Specialist I see patients who are affected by terrible diseases such as Rheumatoid Arthritis, Psoriatic Arthritis and Ankylosing Spodylitis- to name but a few!!

Whether you are familiar with these diseases or not, please take my word for it, they are extremely debilitating and have a huge, life-long impact not only upon the sufferer, but their families also.

Arthritis Research UK fund much needed, high class research, as well as providing information to the public and also campaigning. They do an amazing job in helping to improve the pain of arthritic patients and helping them to remain active and independent.

Whether you would like to sponsor me as a patient, as the family of friend of a sufferer, a colleague, or indeed a supportive family member or friend of my very own- i will be equally appreciative! I will be delighted to run the Great North Run on behalf of this charity. I am not so sure I will enjoy the training however!!!!
