Story
On Sunday 24th February I ran the Hong Kong Standard Chartered Run - my first ever marathon. I ran it in 3 hours 30 minutes and 22 seconds, a time which meant I was the first woman to cross the finish line in my category, coming in 34rd overall in my group and placed 54th out of ALL girls running (including the elite woman’s race) I am absolutely thrilled with my result and so glad that the months of training paid off!
I cannot begin to say how incredible overwhelmed I am by the phenomenal donations and support I have received for this run, I am truly grateful and cannot thank you all enough, it really does mean so much to me! Please keep them coming!
To give a bit more information, I am raising money for Brain Tumour UK, a charity committed to fighting brain tumours, who make a fundamental difference to people diagnosed with brain tumours by providing invaluable personalised support and breakthrough scientific research.
This charity is one that is very close to my heart and has been an invaluable support towards somebody very dear to me, who, with the help of the charity's fantastic work, has made incredible and inspirational progress since being diagnosed with a brain tumour.
It would mean the world to me if you give anything that you can spare and sponsor me for this truly great cause. I can't thank you enough for your support and kind generosity!
