Story

My name is Hattie and I have Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) , a chronic pain condition.   I live my life in constant pain along with the many other symptoms of CRPS such as altered sensations, swelling, changes in skin colour, burning pain and so much more. As of yet there is no known cause and no known cure.

In 2013 I knocked my ankle against a dishwasher door.   From that night on I had immense pain completely out of proportion to the injury.    After lots of hospital visits, a doctor diagnosed me with a rare pain condition called CRPS.      Since then CRPS has spread to both my arms.

This painful condition has changed my life in so many ways and there are lots of things I miss doing but most of all I miss living without pain.

Please help me tell the world about CRPS.

Please help me support the Pain Relief Foundation in their mission to support those with chronic pain.
