Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Hi I've set myself two challenges to say thank you and to hopefully raise some money for Jigsaw which is the children's hospice based in Carlisle, Cumbria. This hospice cares for children and young adults with life limiting conditions and provides support for their families. This children's hospice is very close to our hearts as a family as we have a son with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy who was diagnosed at the age of 6 years and this is when jigsaw came into our lives to help to support us through difficult times. This support continues to this day and our son is now 19 years old.
Challenge 1 Cycle up and down Hartside in Cumbria 23 times which is the equivalent of the height of Everest with a distance of 218 miles in 24 hours. This takes place on the 30th may 2015
Challenge 2 Cycle up and down Mont-Ventoux in France 6 times by 3 different routes which is 29154 feet climbing with a distance of 169 miles in 24 hours. This takes place on the 24th August 2015
