Welcome to the London Marathon 2021 page for #TeamPCR! This year promises to be our biggest and best so far, with all our fundraising providing a better future for men and their families affected by prostate cancer.

Story

Both of my grandads have been successfully treated for prostate cancer in the past year, thanks in part to the incredible treatments developed by Prostate Cancer Research. With 1 in 8 men in the UK diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime, it’s vital that the world-class scientists that make up this charity are able to continue their pioneering research in order to develop new breakthrough treatments so that one day we may live in a world in which no one is impacted by prostate cancer.

Like many charities, Prostate Cancer Research is heavily reliant on fundraising to finance its research, which has been deeply impacted this past year and a half as a result of the pandemic. The above, together with my desire to help eliminate the perceived stigma around testing and diagnosis for men of all ages, is why I’m running the 2021 London Marathon for Prostate Cancer Research.

All donations will be sent directly to Prostate Cancer Research in a fast and secure way. Any support you can give is greatly appreciated and will go to excellent use.
