I have been attending the East London Mosque since 1975 and would love to be able to complete this run and raise funds for the new Maryam Centre so that others like me can benefit from its service for years to come. I will be running the British 10K London Run on Sunday 8th July 2012 through the heart of central london in aid of raising money for the new East London Mosque Maryam Centre, which will be dedicated to provide services to women. The new Maryam Centre will have the following facilities:

1) Increased prayer space for men & women

2) Education facilities for girls

3) Health and fitness centre for women

4) Expanded range of women's services and projects

5) Improved facilities for funeral service
