We are on call 24/7, 365 days a year to provide mountain search and rescue.

Story

On Wednesday 7th March 2012 the University of Birmingham Mountaineering Club is endeavouring to climb the height of Mt. Everest, all 8848m of it, at an indoor wall!!

Teams of brave stoats will compete against each other to reach the summit first, and it's all in a bid to raise money for Mountain Rescue England & Wales.

Mountain Rescue is an entirely voluntary body and rely on the support and generocity of the public to maintain this valuable community service. They have certainly been there for a few of our members when we needed them. So dig deep people, this is a truely inspirational cause, and it is something that everyone can help raise money for.

Thanks very much for your generosity
