Story

Thank you for visiting our page.

Guy and I are getting our trainers on to support the NSPCC, because they do amazing work in Scotland and across the UK to protect children from abuse and give those children who have suffered their childhoods back.

Guy will be doing his first ever sponsored event by toddling a mile round Holyrood Park on 24th June (as part of Toddle for Scotland), and by joining him I'll be contributing another 1.6 km to my crazy goal of completing 201.2 km of runs/walks by the time the Olympics start on 27th July. (And contributing to the North East and Cumbria NSPCC Crackerjacks team goal of jointly completing 2012 km).

Alongside individual runs around Edinburgh, I'll also be taking part in the NSPCC's Lakeland HACK - a 20 mile hike through the Lake District and signing up to a couple of organised 5kms as well.

You can follow the  kilometres I clock up here  and also find out more about why we're supporting the NSPCC.

If you'd like to support us, donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the NSPCC and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - we raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity..
