Lupus is not a widely known condition but can deeply affect those living with it, both sufferers and their families. Lupus is a classic multi sympton illness, patients may have some or many of the symtoms.  It is presently incurable,  its onset can be slow and individulalised so that no two patients present alike and this can often cause long delays in achieving a diagnosis.  So raising awareness of the disease as well as supporting those living with it is part of the really important work undertaken by Lupus UK.
