Story
For those of you that don’t know, this is our amazing 8 year old Harrison. Both his Mum and I work as nurses at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham. Between us we have been working alternate shifts to help with the recent pandemic. Today Harrison has asked if he can play his own part, and wants to raise money to help people with Covid-19, therefore all money raised will go to the amazing Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham Charity.
As some of you may know, he’s an aspiring goalkeeper and has been on trial at Stoke’s academy since before Christmas. Since lockdown he’s missed this dearly, so we’ve come up with an idea. Between us, on Sunday 10th May we will use an Exercise bike to cycle the 43 miles from Halesowen to Clayton Wood where he would usually train. We will then go out into the garden and continue to play football until I manage to score 100 goals past him. If you know Harrison as many of you do (or myself for that matter) you’ll know that this will probably take longer than the bike ride itself.
We really hope you’ll help to donate to a wonderful charity and allow Harrison to play his part in helping.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you in advance.
