This year on the 26th May 2013 I will be doing my first ever Manchester 10k and raising money for the Carers Trust .

Alot of us are in fortunate positions, able, healthy, good jobs, decent social lives. Some of us might not know the hard work younger Carers around the UK put into caring for loved ones and not being able to take time out to relax.

So I say  whats 10k run have on the hard working carers who put their own health and social well being on the line to care 24/7 for their loved ones.

Your generous donations to Carers Trust will allow them to set up further projects to help carers with what ever they need from professional help to specialist equipment, and the chance to take some time off.

Hope my legs don't give in, although yes I have been training hard. I have seen my running improve since the start of October. Although not at superman speed ;)....
