Story
In 2022/23, the team at Harold Sharp Limited have voted to support FareShare as our Charity of the Year, and pledge to raise vital funds to help tackle the food poverty issue in Greater Manchester through a series of fundraising events.
We aspire to collectively raise £500 - which, in real terms, would provide 2400 meals to vulnerable people across Manchester or fund a School Breakfast club to ensure that school children are starting their day ready to learn.
About FareShare Greater Manchester
FareShare has seen demand for food skyrocket, particularly among frontline organisations providing food to children and their families. They redistribute surplus food to charities that turn it into meals. Within Greater Manchester, they aim to provide 7 million meals to people who would otherwise go without food, and support over 220 charity and community groups that feed thousands of people across the region.
