We stand for everyone affected by dementia to find a cure

Story

I’ve decided to put myself through it for a second year running!

Last year, a group of us struggled through hail stones and treacherous rain to battle our way across 26 miles of the three tallest peaks in the Yorkshire Dales.

I thought I was fit- I was wrong! The term ‘physically challenging’ is an understatement.

But the feeling of satisfaction at the end of it, meant that as soon as I finished, I decided I had to do it again!  So here goes...

Let the training commence!

It’s for such a worthwhile cause- Alzheimer’s Research UK

Alzheimer's Disease is the most common form of dementia. Symptoms include loss of memory, mood changes, and problems with communication and reasoning, which can then lead to death. Alzheimer’s Research UK is the UK’s leading dementia research charity specialising in finding preventions, causes, treatments and a cure for dementia.

I am hoping to reach my target of £400 before the event, so please do donate what you can.

Thanks in advance and I’ll keep you all posted.
