Story

I’m running this year’s London Marathon to support the Young Person’s Unit at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham, where my brother Sandy was a patient in 2009.

Sandy was suddenly diagnosed with testicular cancer. It was a huge shock to him, and to our family, but we coped with the help of the world-class treatment that he received on the YPU. We felt safe and supported during those months of chemotherapy. Six years later, he’s entirely well.

I want other young patients to benefit like Sandy from the very special care offered by the YPU.  So for this important cause I’m asking you please to give whatever you can.
