We raise awareness of AIDS through cricket to strengthen communities and fight disease

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In October I will be spending two weeks in Uganda with the Charity Cricket Without Boundaries. Having reached my initial target of £750 I have decided to up the ante and go for £1000!!

Cricket Without Boundaries is dedicated to helping, educating and developing local communities around the world through the spread and growth of cricket. Crucially, CWB also uses cricket as a tool in the fight against AIDS. CWB’s training sessions have at their heart discussion about the disease in terms of prevention, treatment and equality of treatment for those with and without the disease.

I am extremely excited to be taking part in this project but I need your help to make it a success. The money I raise here does not go towards my flights to Africa or my accomodation or food whilst I'm out there. It goes straight to those we are trying to help in the form of cricket equipment and clothing and (as important) it pays for local coaches to be trained so that the game in Uganda becomes self-sustainable.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
