Story
It's been a long time since I ran as far as 13.1 miles - over six years, in fact. So I thought I'd try to make it more worthwhile by raising money for Reverse Rett UK, a charity committed to raising money to fund research into a cure for Rett Syndrome.
Rett Syndrome is a rare condition that only affects girls. Girls like my friend's daughter Eliza. Eliza is about to turn five. She used to be able to say a few words but can longer speak. She's recently taken her first wobbly steps, but cannot control her movements well and will require 24 hour care for the rest of your life.
So if you have a few spare quid, please chuck them my way - it will be going towards a great cause.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
