My sister Laura suffers from a very painful condition called Trigeminal Neuralgia (TN) which is a chronic disorder of the Trigeminal nerve which causes unbearable facial pain. I see Laura suffer with this everyday and see the impact it has on all aspects of her life.

While there is nothing I can personally do to stop her pain, I can try to raise awareness of this condition, and raise as much money as I can for the charity 'Trigeminal Neuralgia Association UK' which I know has been a lifeline for Laura so far.  

I would like to get the ball rolling by running the Bupa London 10,000 race on the 30th May 2011 which is a 10k race starting and finishing in St. James park.
