On World Refugee Day, Saturday 20th June, I'm doing 11.3 (12) challenges suggested by you for a project that supports child refugees to recover from trauma.

In 2016, many of you sponsored me on a walk to raise funds for Middle East Media (MEM) so that they could launch this project. Since then, with help from a child psychologist, MEM has created a 3D animation series about a little girl who faces similar experiences to those of refugees. They have created an accompanying curriculum and trained 227 teachers and NGO workers in how to use the materials to support 4,900 children.

To support another 2,500 children, MEM needs to train 113 more teachers and NGO workers. This project has had a phenomenal impact so far - will you join me in raising £750 so that it can reach more children?
