On Thursday 10th November some rather fantastic teachers from St John the Baptist School in Aberdare will be swapping their comfortable, warm beds for cardboard, sleeping bags and open skies with the aim of raising money for Llamau. Not only does an uncomfortable and somewhat 'fresh' evening await, but they will then be heading straight to school for a full day of teaching on the Friday!   

Why are they putting themselves through this we hear you cry? Well, every year Llamau provides vital support to over 8,000 young people facing homelessness in Wales.

Homelessness can happen to anyone, and for thousands of people in Wales, homelessness is a frightening reality. Llamau provide the accommodation, support and advice that is so crucial in times of crisis. Llamau is Wales’ leading homeless charity, working with homeless and potentially homeless young people and vulnerable women across Wales.

SJB Staff want to help support such a fantastic cause, as homelessness statistics rise and charities such as Llamau find themselves increasingly becoming depended upon by so many who don't know where else to turn.

Please help support this fantastic cause (and encourage the team to make it through a night of very cold extremities) by donating. No matter how big or small, it will make such a difference, and that night under the November sky and grueling Friday at work all worth it!
