Story
On Wednesday 22nd November at 4pm Sarah at Julie McKinstry Hair in Bangor is going to chop off pretty much all my hair... approximately 16inches of it!!! I am doing this to raise money for the Cancer Fund for Children, a charity that is very close to my heart. In addition to this I will be donating my hair to The Little Princess Trust another great charity!!!
Last September my uncle was diagnosed with stage 4 bowel and liver cancer, which as you can imaging was devastating news for the whole family. The Cancer Fund for Children has been working with my 12 and 14 year old cousins over the last few months, giving them support both at Daisy Lodge at the residentials and also at home.
The Cancer Fund for Children is a fantastic charity that works with families that have been affected by cancer. The charity provides support to all members of the family by organising residentials for the children, which give them the opportunity to meet other children and young adults who are in similar position and giving them the opportunity to talk to a professional about any concerns they may have. Families can also obtain practical and financial support from the Cancer Fund for Children. It really is a fantastic service!
The Little Princess Trust gives away free wigs made with real hair to children that have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or other illnesses.

This has all been organised really quick and I want to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who has offered to help and of course a massive thank you to Julie McKinstry who has organised for Sarah to cut my hair!!! I really appreciate your generosity!!!
Please donate what you can and share my page for the Cancer Fund for Children!!!!
