We have done it! Today -5th of December- we jumped out of a plane at Honiton airfield at 10,000 feet for our skydive! We enjoyed every second of it, (surprisingly enough the freefall was mums favourite bit!) and I could happily see us both doing it again. We want to thank everyone for their amazing support and kindness. We are going to keep the donation page going a little longer just in case there are any last minute donations. Last but certainly not least, we want to send so much love to Rose, we thought of you the whole way!
Catherine & Hannah xx
On the 21st March 2008 Rose was diagnosed with osteosarcoma - a rare form of bone cancer - in her leg. She had nine months of chemotherapy and a huge operation to remove a massive tumour from her femur and replace it with a metal prosthesis. She learned to walk and live again and had a full year back at school. In November last year Rose relapsed with bone tumours in her lung and had an operation to remove them in February this year. After four more months of remission and hope she now has recurrence once again in her lungs and also in the bones in her arm. She is still our amazing Rose and always will be.
Please sponsor us so that doctors will have more of an understanding of bone cancer, and so people like Rose don't have to suffer anymore.
We all love you very much, our lovely cousin and niece, 'Rose' X
