Story
Hi all,
As some of you may know I am running the London marathon in just under two months time.
I am running for Prostate Cancer. My dad is suffering from this disease and has been for some time. He has just finished an intense course of chemotherapy and the doctors are hopeful that while he won't ever be cured, the treatment will have worked as best it can.
Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men and it kills one man every single hour in the UK. It is rarely talked about so any awareness can only be a good thing.
I know at this time of year there are loads of appeals for money for charity and it can be an utter ball ache! - I only hope that you can spare a bit of change to sponsor me as this is a charity very close to my heart. I can also assure you I won't be doing this again or pleading for cash again!!!
