In May I will be going to Ethiopia for 3 months to volunteer with VSO. I will be living in the small city of Hawassa in the Rift Valley in southern Ethiopia and working on projects including education, health and secure livehihoods. Any donation you can make will be greatly appreciated. Ethiopia is one of the poorest countries in sub-Saharan Africa with 29% of the population living on less than $1 a day. However, impressive progress is being made and VSO are working on HIV and AIDS awareness and strengthening education within the country.

I am raising money for VSO so that they can continue to work on sustainable projects, raise awareness and send young people to the developing world to fight against poverty. The money that you donate will not be directly spent on me.
