Story
I'm fundraising for Kashmir because everyday Kashmiri people are suffering, and we need to help. With no sign of the curfew being lifted, the situation for Indian-administered Kashmir is becoming more and more difficult. Families have been trapped in their homes for weeks now, unable to leave to buy food, water and essential medicines. With the lines of communication in the Kashmiri region cut off for months, Penny Appeal have been struggling to connect with partner organisations. But we have secured a reliable, local partner organisation, which will be able to deliver food and medicine to Southern Kashmir despite the curfew and communications blackout.Penny Appeal are now working with our local partner to provide food, water, and medical supplies to help protect innocent lives in Kashmir.A £300 Medical Pack could provide people with urgent medicine such as insulin. As little as £150 could provide a family with food and water for a month. Any donation , small or big, will help those who need it the most.
